Installation

INSTALLATION





1. Raise axle into position.
2. Loosely install the two nuts and bolts (1) in engine mount.





3. Loosely install the three nuts and bolts (2) in pinion nose bracket.





4. Loosely install the two bolts (2) in axle tube mount.





5. Tighten all the bolts finger-tight, then tighten all bolts to 95 Nm (70 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the axle vent tube to the differential cover.
7. Install propeller shaft and flange with reference marks aligned.
8. Install the LH catalytic converter. Catalytic Converter - Installation
9. Install halfshafts. Half Shaft - Installation.
10. Install support crossmember (2) and bolts.
11. Install hub bearing and brake shield.
12. Install caliper assemblies. Disc Brake Caliper - Installation.
13. Install skid plate, if necessary.
