Intake Manifold - Removal

REMOVAL





1. Remove resonator assembly and air inlet hose.
2. Bleed fuel system Service and Repair.
3. Disconnect negative cable from battery.
4. Disconnect electrical connectors for the following components:
- Electronic Throttle Control (ETC) (2)
- Coolant Temperature (CTS) Sensor





5. remove spark plug wires (3).
6. Disconnect generator electrical connections.
7. Disconnect and remove ignition coils (1,2) and manifold retaining bolts.
8. Remove top oil dipstick tube retaining bolt and ground strap.
9. Remove fuel rail Fuel Rail - Removal.
10. Remove intake manifold.
