Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner - Installation






3.7L/4.7L ENGINES





1. Position the accessory drive belt tensioner on the front cover.
2. An indexing slot is located on back of the tensioner. Align this slot to the head of the bolt on the front cover. Install the mounting bolt. Tighten bolt to 41 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the accessory drive belt Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Installation.
4. Check the accessory drive belt tensioner indexing marks.
