Liftgate - Installation

INSTALLATION






NOTE: A suitable body sealant should be used when removing or moving the hinges.

1. Position the liftgate onto the vehicle using the reference marks made during the Removal procedure and install the six body bolts (1).
2. Tighten the bolts to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.).
3. Check and adjust the liftgate if necessary.
4. Connect the wire harness and washer hose.
5. Install the support struts, Gas Prop - Installation.
6. Connect the power liftgate link rod, if equipped. Power Liftgate Link Rod - Installation
7. Position the upper rear headliner trim and seat fully.
