Instrument Panel Center Bezel: Removal
WARNING:
Follow all Warnings for airbag component service (Refer to RESTRAINTS
).
- Open decklid.
- Remove four bolts to battery compartment cover and remove cover.
- Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
- Wait two minutes for the airbag system reserve capacitor to discharge before beginning any airbag system or instrument panel component service.
- Remove the console bezel. (Refer to - CENTER CONSOLE BEZEL - REMOVAL ).
- Remove six Allen screws and one standard screw at the bottom and separate the bezel from the instrument panel.
- Disconnects the HVAC and start switch electrical connectors.
