Engine Oil Pressure Warning Indicator

This indicator is located in the Oil Pressure gauge. The non- serviceable LED is hardwired to the MIC. The cluster will illuminate the indicator when the appropriate PCI bus message is received indicating the oil pressure has reached a Low Pressure condition, 10 psi (69 kPa) and engine speed is greater than 450 RPM. The cluster will move the gauge pointer to the appropriate position, illuminate the warning indicator, and request a single chime. When the cluster receives bus data indicating oil pressure greater than 10 psi (69 kPa) at 450 RPM, it will turn OFF the indicator.
