Stop Lamps Stay On

  1. Check if brake lamp switch is out of adjustment. If necessary, replace brake lamp switch and adjust.
  2. Check brake pedal for binding. Inspect and replace as necessary.
  3. Check if power brake booster is allowing pedal to return completely. Replace the power brake booster if necessary.
