Section 69 (Stationary Glass): BACKLITE: Removal

NOTE: (Refer to BODY/STATIONARY GLASS/WINDSHIELD-WARNING  ) for applicable glass removal safety precautions.
  1. On standard cab models, remove the B-pillar trim. (Refer to B-PILLAR TRIM )
  2. Remove the c-pillar trim, if equipped. (Refer to C-PILLAR TRIM )
  3. Remove the quarter trim, if equipped. (Refer to QUARTER TRIM PANEL )
  4. Remove cab back panel trim. (Refer to REAR CAB BACK PANEL TRIM )
  5. Bend backlite retaining tabs (Figure ) inward against glass.
  6. Using a long knife from inside the vehicle, cut urethane holding backlite frame to opening fence.
  7. Separate glass from vehicle.
