Exterior Handle: Removal

Remove door trim panel. (Refer to BODY/DOOR-FRONT/TRIM PANEL-REMOVAL )
Remove water dam as necessary to gain access to door handle.
Roll glass up.
Remove fastener access plug from door end panel (Fig 1 ).
Disengage lock cylinder to latch rod from the latch (Fig 2 ).
Disengage outside handle to latch rod from the latch.
Remove nuts attaching outside door handle to door.
Separate outside handle from the door.
