Governor pressure is controlled electronically. Components used for governor pressure control include:
- Governor body
- Valve body transfer plate
- Governor pressure solenoid valve
- Governor pressure sensor
- Fluid temperature thermistor
- Throttle position sensor (TPS)

- Powertrain control module (PCM)
