Output Shaft Rear Bearing: Removal

  1. Remove overdrive unit from the vehicle. (Refer to OVERDRIVE UNIT  )
  2. Remove overdrive geartrain from housing.
  3. Remove snap-ring holding output shaft rear bearing into overdrive housing (Fig 1).

  4. Using a suitable driver inserted through the rear end of housing, drive bearing from housing.
