Fuel Tank Skid Plate: Installation

  1. Position and support the skid plate under the fuel tank.
  2. Install the nuts to attach the skid plate to the fuel tank crossmember and the frame crossmember and tighten to 41 N.m (30 ft. lbs.).
  3. Install the screws to attach the skid plate to the frame side rail and the support bracket and tighten to 23 N.m (17 ft. lbs.).
