Exhaust Pipe - 3.9L & 5.9L: Installation

- Connect the exhaust pipe(s) to the exhaust manifold. Tighten the nuts to 34 N.m (25 ft. lbs.) torque.
- Align and connect the exhaust pipe to the catalytic converter flange (Fig 1 ). Install exhaust clamp and tighten clamp nuts to 47 N.m (35 ft. lbs.) torque.
- Connect oxygen sensor connector(s).
- Lower the vehicle.
- Start the engine and inspect for exhaust leaks and exhaust system contact with the body panels. Adjust the alignment, if needed.
