Washer Reservoir: Installation

NOTE:
The washer reservoir is integral to the right end of the upper radiator shroud, and the engine coolant reserve/overflow tank is integral to the left end of the upper radiator shroud (Figure
).
- Position the upper radiator shroud and washer reservoir unit onto the radiator.
- Engage the locator dowels on the bottom of the upper radiator shroud into the locator holes in the upper flanges of the lower shroud.
- Install and tighten the six screws that secure the upper radiator shroud to the radiator. Tighten the screws to 6 N.m (50 in. lbs.).
- Reconnect the engine coolant reserve/overflow hose to the nipple of the radiator filler spout in the upper radiator hose.
- Reconnect the engine compartment washer hose to the barbed outlet nipple of the washer pump/motor (Figure ).
- Reconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector for the washer pump/motor unit to the motor connector receptacle.
- Reconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector for the washer fluid level switch to the switch connector receptacle.
- Refill the washer reservoir with the washer fluid drained from the reservoir during the removal procedure.
- Inspect and adjust the coolant level in the coolant reserve tank as required.
- Reconnect the battery negative cable.
- Close and latch the hood.
