Driver-Side Air Bag Module: Notes

CAUTION: Pulling on clockspring pigtail wiring harness to disengage electrical connector from driver-side air bag module can damage air bag electrical circuits. Air bag malfunction may result. Disconnect clockspring connector by pulling only on connector body.
Deployment of driver-side air bag can damage clockspring. Clockspring malfunction may result. If replacing deployed driver-side air bag module, clockspring must be replaced. See CLOCKSPRING .
NOTE: If driver-side air bag is faulty or deployed, entire air bag, trim cover and horn switch must be replace as a unit.
