Active Diagnostic Trouble Codes (Dtcs)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Dodge Dakota. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Active DTCs are hard codes and are accessed through DRBIII. If a malfunction is detected, AIR BAG warning light remains on for a minimum of 12 seconds or until as long as fault is present. Active DTCs are stored in ACM memory after ignition switch is cycled. Active DTCs automatically erase when fault is corrected.
