Installation (Rear)

- Install the brake pads (if removed). See DISC BRAKE SHOES .
- Lubricate anti-rattle clips for the disc brake pads. See Fig 1.
- Install the caliper to the brake caliper adapter.
- Coat the caliper mounting slide pin bolts with silicone grease. Install and tighten the bolts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the brake hose banjo bolt (if removed).
- Install the brake hose to the caliper with new seal washers and tighten fitting bolt.
- Remove the prop rod from the vehicle.
- Bleed the brake system. See BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING under BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM.
- Install the wheel and tire assemblies. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
- Verify a firm pedal before moving the vehicle.
CAUTION:
Verify brake hose is not twisted or kinked before tightening fitting bolt.
