Removal (Disc Brakes)

- Remove wheel and tire assembly.
- Remove the disc brake caliper. See CALIPER .
- Remove caliper adapter. See CALIPER ADAPTER .
- Remove the rotor. See ROTOR .
- Remove the axles shaft. See appropriate DRIVE AXLES article in DRIVELINE/AXLES.
- Remove the parking brake shoes. See PARKING BRAKE SHOES .
- Remove the parking brake cable from the brake lever.
- Remove the bolts attaching the support plate to the axle and remove the support plate.
