Monitored & Set Conditions
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Dodge Dakota. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) system is monitored immediately after a cold start with battery/ambient temperature 40-90°F (4.4-32.0°C) and engine coolant temperature within 10°F (-12.2°C) of battery/ambient temperature. Leak Detection Pump (LDP) test must pass first. If the PCM suspects a pinched hose, it will not set a fault until it runs the EVAP purge flow monitor. If the purge flow monitor does not pass, the pinched hose fault will be set.
