Monitored & Set Conditions

Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) signal is monitored when engine coolant temperature is more than 104°F (40°C), Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor vacuum is 15-16 in. Hg and engine speed is 1400-3000 RPM. DTC will set when PCM senses no VSS signal for more than 15 seconds on two consecutive trips.
