DTC P1602: Pcm Not Programmed: Testing

  1. Ignition on, engine not running. With the DRBIII® scan tool, erase DTCs. With the DRBIII® scan tool program the PCM. Start the engine. Allow the engine to reach normal operating temperature. With the DRBIII® scan tool, read DTCs. Does the DTC reset? If yes, replace and program the PCM. See PROGRAMMING . If no, the PCM has been successfully programmed. Test is complete.
