Monitored & Set Conditions

Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor circuit is monitored with ignition on and battery voltage greater than 10 volts. DTC will set if ECT sensor voltage at the PCM is greater than 4.96 volts for more that 2.6 seconds. This is a one trip fault.
