Removal (3.9L & 5.9L)

The Throttle Position (TP) sensor is located on side of throttle body. See Figure. Remove air duct at throttle body. Disconnect TP sensor electrical connector. Remove 2 TP sensor mounting bolts. Remove TP sensor from throttle body.
