Removal & Installation

On 3.9L and 5.9L engines, oil pressure sensor is located on rear of intake manifold. See Fig 1. On 4.7L engines, oil pressure sensor is located on oil filter adapter directly above oil filter. See Fig 2. On all models, disconnect the negative cable from battery and raise vehicle on hoist. Remove front splash shield. Disconnect oil pressure sensor harness connector. Remove oil pressure sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure.
