Removal (3.9L & 5.9L)

  1. Remove the air duct at throttle body. Disconnect throttle body electrical connectors at MAP sensor, IAC motor and Throttle Position (TP) sensor. See Fig 1.
  2. Remove vacuum line at throttle body. Remove all control cables from throttle body (lever) arm. Remove four throttle body mounting bolts. See Fig 2.
  3. Remove throttle body from intake manifold. Discard old throttle body-to-intake manifold gasket.
