Heater Inlet Hose: Installation

- If separated, reconnect the heater inlet hose to the heater hose assembly.
- Position the heater inlet hose and heater hose assembly into the engine compartment.
- Using spring tension clamp pliers, compress and slide each clamp away from the end of the hose being installed.
- Install each hose by carefully twisting the hose back and forth while gently pushing it onto the tube end.
- Using spring tension clamp pliers, compress and slide the clamps onto each end of the hose being installed.
- Install the retainers that secure the heater hose assembly retaining brackets to the top of the engine.
- Install the air intake housing to the top of the engine.
- Refill the engine cooling system (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE - REFILLING COOLING SYSTEM ).
