Installation (Rear - Durango)

  1. Install caliper to the caliper adapter. See Fig 1.
  2. Coat the caliper mounting slide pin bolts with silicone grease. Then install and tighten the bolts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
    3. CAUTION: Verify brake hose is not twisted or kinked before tightening fitting bolt.
  3. Install the brake hose to the caliper and install the brake hose banjo bolt if removed with new seal washers and tighten fitting bolt. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Bleed the brake system. See BRAKE SYSTEM BLEEDING  under BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM.
  5. Install the wheel and tire assemblies. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  6. Remove the supports and lower the vehicle.
  7. Verify a firm pedal before moving the vehicle.
