Tail Lamp: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Release the liftgate latch and open the liftgate.
  3. Remove the screws attaching the tail lamp to the liftgate opening.
  4. Separate the inner end of the lamp from the quarter panel.
  5. Disengage the hook holding the outer end of the lamp to the quarter panel opening.
  6. Separate the lamp from the quarter panel.
  7. Rotate the lamp socket counterclockwise one quarter turn and remove the socket from the lamp.

  8. Remove the bulb from the socket.
