Removal & Installation

NOTE:
A/C pressure sensor may also be referred to as A/C pressure transducer.
- A/C pressure sensor connector is located on A/C discharge refrigerant line, near compressor. Disconnect negative battery cable at remote battery terminal on passenger's side strut tower.
- Disconnect A/C pressure sensor connector. With a counterclockwise rotation using a 14 mm open-end wrench, remove A/C pressure sensor with "O" ring from A/C refrigerant line. A slight release of pressure trapped in the fitting may be experienced. It is not necessary to discharge the refrigerant system.
- To install, reverse removal procedure using NEW "O" ring. Tighten A/C pressure sensor to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Plug in the wire harness connector to the A/C pressure transducer. Connect the battery negative cable to the remote battery post.
