Removal & Installation (3.5L)

Idle Air Control (IAC) motor attaches to the side of throttle body. See Figure. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Disconnect the air plenum. Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the mounting screw. Remove the IAC with "O" ring from throttle body.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Install the IAC to the throttle body using NEW "O" ring. Tighten mounting screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Attach electrical connector to the IAC. Install air plenum and tighten clamp. Connect the negative battery cable.
