Installation (3.5L)

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Dodge Intrepid, 2003 Chrysler Intrepid, 2003 Chrysler Concorde, and 2003 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Lightly lubricate the fuel injector "O" rings with a couple drops of clean engine oil.
  2. Install retaining clips on fuel injectors. Push injectors into fuel injector rail until clips are in the correct position.
  3. Position fuel rail over cylinder head, and push rail into place. Tighten fuel rail mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Connect fuel supply tube quick connect fittings at the rear of the fuel rail. See FUEL LINE DISCONNECT FITTINGS .
  5. Connect electrical connectors to fuel injectors. Install intake manifold plenum. Connect the battery cable.
