Installation (3.5L)

- Loosely install EGR valve and new gasket on cylinder head. Using a new gasket, loosely install the EGR tube and mounting screws. Ensure EGR pipe is parallel with mounting surface on EGR valve assembly.
- Tighten EGR valve assembly to cylinder head screws to specification. Tighten the EGR tube to EGR valve screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Attach electrical connector to solenoid. Install air inlet tube and resonator. Connect negative battery cable.
