All Locks Inoperative From Passenger Door Lock Switch

NOTE: After making any repairs, perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS. Unless instructed otherwise in test step, reconnect any disconnected connectors.
  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect passenger door lock switch connector. Turn ignition on. Using a voltmeter, check voltage on passenger door lock switch connector terminal No. 2, driver door switch MUX circuit (Light Green wire). See Figure. If voltage is more than 4.5 volts, leave passenger door lock switch connector disconnected and go to next step. If voltage is 4.5 volts or less, leave passenger door lock switch connector disconnected and go to step  4.
  2. Turn ignition off. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between ground and passenger door lock switch connector terminal No. 3, ground circuit (Black or Black/Yellow wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, leave passenger door lock switch connector disconnected and go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open Black or Black/Yellow wire.
  3. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) module connector. Using ohmmeter, check resistance of passenger door switch MUX circuit (Light Green wire) between RKE module connector terminal No. 11 and passenger door lock switch connector terminal No. 2. See Figure. If resistance less than 5 ohms, replace passenger door lock switch. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open Light Green wire.
  4. Turn ignition off. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between ground and passenger door lock switch connector terminal No. 3, ground circuit (Black or Black/Yellow wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, leave passenger door lock switch connector disconnected and go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open Black or Black/Yellow wire.
  5. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect RKE module connector. Using ohmmeter, check resistance of passenger door switch MUX circuit (Light Green wire) between RKE module connector terminal No. 11 and passenger door lock switch connector terminal No. 2. See Figure. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace RKE module. See REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (RKE) MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open Light Green wire.
