Temperature Warning Light Inoperative

Turn ignition on. Disconnect temperature switch. Using jumper wire, ground wiring harness connector to known-good ground. If temperature warning light fails to come on, check for problems in circuit wiring, burned out bulb, disconnected bulb socket in instrument cluster, or faulty BCM. See VEHICLE COMMUNICATIONS in BODY CONTROL COMPUTER article. Repair or replace as necessary.
