Test 1A - Vehicle Communications

NOTE: Use VEHICLE COMMUNICATIONS tests only when instructed to do so by another diagnostic test.
  1. If DRB has blank screen, disconnect DRB from DLC. Ensure there is a good ground circuit at cavity 4 of DLC. Ensure there is a 12 volt supply at cavity 16 of DLC. If not, inspect fuse No. 5 and fuse No. 7 in fuse block.
  2. Try a different DRB cable or try a different DRB.
