Test 14A - Warning Lamp Circuit Open/Short

  1. Observe air bag warning lamp. Turn ignition off and then turn ignition on, engine off. If warning lamp came on and DRB shows WARNING LAMP CKT OPEN/SHORTED perform TEST 15A - ACM REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE  . If warning lamp came on and DRB did not show WARNING LAMP CKT OPEN/SHORTED, go to next step. If warning lamp did not come on, go to next step.
  2. disconnect instrument cluster. Remove and inspect warning bulb. If warning bulb is okay, replace circuit board. If warning lamp is not okay, replace bulb.
