Valve Springs: Installation

  1. Check valve springs using Spring Tester (C-647). Replace springs if not within specification. See VALVE SPRING table. Install oil seals, valve spring seats, valve springs and retainers.
  2. Using Spring Compressor (C-4682), compress valve spring and install valve locks. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
