Removal (2.5L)
- Disconnect battery. Drain cooling system. Remove air cleaner. Disconnect all vacuum lines, electrical wiring and fuel lines. Remove throttle linkage. Loosen power steering pump and remove belt. Remove power brake vacuum hose from intake manifold.
- Remove coolant hoses from crossover. Raise vehicle and remove exhaust pipe from manifold. Remove power steering pump and lay aside. Remove intake manifold support bracket, EGR tube and intake manifold retaining bolts. Lower vehicle and remove intake manifold. Remove exhaust manifold retaining nuts and manifold.
