Installation (All Models)

  1. Clean all gasket surfaces and inspect for cracks and warpage. Gasket surfaces must not be warped more than .006" (.15 mm) per foot of manifold length. Coat manifold side of intake and exhaust manifold gasket with Sealer (3419115). Install gasket on cylinder head.
  2. Position exhaust manifold on cylinder head and install nuts. Tighten exhaust manifold nuts by starting in center and working outward.
  3. Position intake manifold on cylinder head and install bolts. Raise vehicle. Tighten intake manifold bolts by starting in center and working outward. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
