Special Engine Marks

Information identifying undersize and oversize components will be found at various locations on engine. It is decoded as follows:

• Camshaft bearing caps painted Green with "O/S J" stamped on rear of oil gallery plug on air pump end of cylinder head indicate oversize camshaft journals.
• Camshafts painted Green with "O/S J" stamped on air pump end of camshaft indicate an oversize camshaft journal diameter of 1.395-1.396" (35.43-35.46 mm).
