Warning Lamp Operation

This brake system uses a BRAKE warning lamp located in instrument panel cluster. When ignition switch is in START position, BRAKE warning lamp should glow and go off when ignition switch returns to RUN position.

The following conditions will activate brake lamp:

• Parking brake applied. The light should be on whenever parking brake is applied and ignition switch is ON.
• Low fluid level. Allow fluid level in master cylinder will turn BRAKE lamp on.
• EBD system is disabled. The light should be ON when EBD system is malfunctioning.
