Test Description

NOTE: The numbers below refer to steps on diagnostic Procedure. See Figure .
  1. 2)  The coolant temperature sensor (CTS) for electronic control module (ECM) and temperature gauge sending unit are close together on engine block. Refer to diagram to determine correct wire color to verify that you are testing at correct component.
  2. 3)  The CTS for ECM and temperature gauge sending unit are close together on engine block. Refer to schematic to determine correct wire color to verify that you are testing at correct component.
