Circuit Description

When ignition switch is turned on, ignition voltage is applied to AIR BAG warning light and SDM terminal No. 10. SDM responds by flashing AIR BAG warning light 7 times. If SDM cannot detect voltage in indicator circuit, DTC will set. SDM also attempts to turn on AIR BAG warning light, but light will not turn on if inputs have been correctly processed.
