Removal & Installation

  1. Recover refrigerant. Raise vehicle. Remove pressure relief valve. Clean valve seat area.
  2. To install, lubricate O-ring of new pressure relief valve with new Polyalkylene glycol (PAG) oil. Install new valve. Tighten pressure relief valve to 12 ft. lbs. (16 N.m). Lower vehicle. Evacuate and recharge A/C system.
