Removal & Installation

CAUTION: Canister and vacuum hoses contain fuel vapors. Do not smoke in area or permit an open flame.

Remove canister protective cover. Disconnect canister fuel vapor hoses. See Fig 1 . Remove bolt that secures canister flange to vehicle. Slide canister out of track holder. Remove canister.

To install, insert canister into track and slide it into position. Install canister flange bolt. Tighten evaporative emission canister flange bolt to 20 N.m (15 ft. lbs.). Connect canister fuel vapor hoses. Install canister protective cover. Tighten evaporative emission canister protective cover to 8 N.m (71 INCH Lbs.).
