Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid: Installation

  1. Attach EVAP canister purge solenoid to mounting bracket. See Figure . Install EVAP canister purge solenoid and mounting bracket to intake manifold with bracket bolt. Tighten evaporative emission canister purge solenoid bracket bolt to 5 N.m (44 INCH Lbs.).
  2. Connect vacuum hoses to EVAP canister purge solenoid. Connect EVAP canister purge solenoid connector. Connect negative battery cable.
