Valve Grind

  1. Check contact pattern on valve head and in cylinder head. Clean valves, valve guides, and cylinder head. Ensure that there are no crater line burns on valve cone. The valve may be reground only 2 times. Do not grind valve stem end.
  2. Ensure that angle at valve face is 45 degrees. Inspect assembly height of intake valves and exhaust valves.
