U017E Lost Communication With SEATBELT Sensor 1

This DTC indicates a communication issue has occurred between the Sending control module (Drivers Door Module - DDM) and the Reporting control module(s) that set this fault.

NOTE:

Treat this DTC as a MISSING MESSAGE DTC when performing the COMMUNICATION DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE.

The COMMUNICATION DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE MUST be performed before replacing any component(s) or module(s). Perform the COMMUNICATION DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE. Refer to: COMMUNICATION DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
