Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Module
REMOVAL
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the instrument cluster bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT CLUSTER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Using a trim stick or equivalent, release the top portion of the gap hider from the instrument panel to gain access to the lower instrument panel cluster fasteners.
- Remove the four screws that secure the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) to the instrument panel.
1 - Screws - Pull the top of the IPC rearward far enough to access and disconnect the instrument panel wire harness connectors from the connector receptacles on the back of the IPC.
- Remove the IPC from the instrument panel.
INSTALLATION
Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.
- Tighten the screws securely.
- Verify the retaining tabs are fully engaged into the instrument panel.
