Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. With a scan tool, read DTCs and record on repair order.
2. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
3. Turn the ignition off and remove the key from the ignition.
4. Turn the ignition on, wait one minute.
5. With the scan tool, read Radio DTCs.
  Is the DTC active?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
CHECK THE BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) DTCS
1. With a scan tool, read DTCs and record on repair order.
2. With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
3. Turn the ignition off and remove the key from the ignition.
4. Turn the ignition on, wait one minute.
5. With the scan tool, read BCM DTCs.
  Is DTC active?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the applicable BCM DTC procedure. Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM), DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX .
  No
  - Replace the Radio in accordance with service information. Refer to RADIO, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
